The League is strong financially and the leadership is astute and visionary. Team Black is the New Red. I think comparisons between Black and the classic Habs teams of the 50s, 60s, and 70s as well as with the Edmonton Oilers and New York Islanders dynasties are in order. Black's captain combines the player selection skills of Sam Pollack and the leadership skills of Messier and the charisma of Dennis Hull. Andre and Dwayne try hard as well.
