PHL Rookie Interviewed by new Minister

PHL Black Team Rookie Francesco Palozzi seen here on his Flora Street doorstep speaking with the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change Catherine McKenna on how his season is shaping up. Francesco mentions he is doing his part as his proximity to the rink helps minimize exhaust emissions as he walks or bikes to the rink! 

PHL START UP - September 5th , 2015

The season starts September 5th with Gold vs Red at 12:00 and White vs Black at 13:00. Additional scheduled games to follow.

Please note that this year, as in the past, the cost will include the CARHA hockey insurance.For details on the insurance please visit www.carhahockey.ca. 

As it has been for the past several season this year the goalies we will pay a nominal amount to reduce the skater league fees.

League Players Fees

• Exact cost for skaters is $400 and goaltenders, $125 
• A minimum of $210 must be paid within the first three weeks of the season
• Although full payment is preferred, should you wish to pay in 2 installments an additional $10 will be added to the cost making the cost $410
• Cheques made payable to "Prescott Hockey"
• INTERAC e-Transfer is now available for paying league fees.  For more information please view Email Funds Transfer and send to prescotthockey email address.
• All moneys must be remitted to the league treasurer by 14:30 5-Dec-2015

Spares

• If you are a regular league participant your cost to spare for another team has risen to $8
• If someone spares from outside the league the cost has risen to $16
• Strong consideration is being made to restricting each team to one spare per game
• Should a team's lineup have two or more players than the opposing team, a player transfer will take place for that game to bring the players total to the same or within one

Note: Every consideration must be made by the captain or their next delegate to maintain a competitive balance for each game. This is to be respected by each player.

Year End Get Together. It's a GO!

Your captain has been advise there will be a "Get Together" after the last game of the season. (2:30 pm onwards).

A few pizza platters will be purchased by the league but the beverages are your responsibility.

Just so we have an idea of how many bodies we can expect please let your captain know !!!!

Please also take this opportunity to let us know if you will be returning next year. We would like to know how many spots need filling by mid summer. Please reply so we can maintain contact with you. Also if you find someone that fits the league please pass their information along so we can get them in.


Reminder - this "Get Together" is limited to participants only - if you do bring a spouse/significant other or friend they must be paid for by the participant.
